Steelman has been a professional nature photographer for 25 years. Since arriving in Colorado in the late 1960s and seeing the majestic Rocky Mountains for the first time, Steelman has been capturing the beauty of North America's wildlife and wild places. His photos have appeared in hundreds of publications worldwide, including National Wildlife Magazine, Smithsonian Magazine, Sierra Club Calendars, Field & Stream, Outdoor Photographer, National Geographic, and Outdoor life. In addition to still photography, Steelman is an accomplished cinematographer.
