Charles Schulz "Reach for the Stars"

CHARLES SCHULZ (1922 - 2000)

Reach for the Stars

Charles Schulz is widely regarded as the most influential cartoonist of all time. He is best known for writing and illustrating PEANUTS, which was first published in 1950 and continued for over fifty years, appearing in over 2600 newspapers and brought joy and happiness to a readership of over 335 million people in 75 countries. This heartwarming piece, created in collaboration with Peanuts Worldwide, LLC, features original NASA photography, which is only appropriate since Schulz was honored with the naming of the Apollo 10 command module "Charlie Brown", and lunar module "Snoopy" back in 1969. Following his death at his home in Santa Rosa, CA, Schulz was posthumously honored with a Congressional Gold Medal.
