Our favorite question!  The answer is pretty simple: We love bees and the apiary is where bees live.  There are many metaphors between bees and humans, the sweetness of life, building community, the occasional sting we all experience, the buzz needed to build a company, etc…. We also hope you agree that it is a rather elegant title. And it helps that the founders are hobbyist beekeepers.

We will do everything we can to accommodate your request for a Rush Order. 

Please email your Rush Order Request to info@apiaria.com along with the requested delivery date and we will reply promptly to inform you if a Rush Option or overnight delivery is available for your purchase. If you have already placed your order, please be sure to include the order number in your email. The order number is located on your order confirmation email. There is an extra charge for expedited delivery. Signature is required.

Yes! Please email us at info@apiaria.com with your order information and the verbiage that you would like to include.  We will hand write your card and include it with the order.  We can also provide special gift boxes and packaging.

Only if you are a buyer in the state of California.  Buyers from all other states will not be charged sales tax.  This does not necessarily mean however that your purchase is exempt from sales/use tax. Most states (except Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon) require residents to pay a sales/use tax to the state tax authorities. For more information and the appropriate forms and instructions, please visit your state's official website.

We are able to ship wine to every state with the following exceptions: Alabama, Arkansas, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Texas, Utah and West Virginia.  There also may be counties within your state that do not permit wine shipments from out of state.
