SIMI Sauvignon Blanc Sonoma County 2021 750ML

98% Sauvignon Blanc, 2% Sémillon

This brilliantly clear, pale-straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc is bright, crisp, and vibrant. Opening with the aromas of freshly cut grass and citrus notes of lime zest, orange blossom, and grapefruit, this wine beautifully balances the flavors of stone fruit, melon, and white flower with good acidity for a long, savory finish.

SIMI has been producing world-class wines for over 140 years and is one of the oldest continuously operating wineries in California History.

Founded by brothers Giuseppe and Pietro SIMI, who immigrated to California from Italy, SIMI has been making wine in Healdsburg, California since 1876, Isabelle Simi, daughter of Giuseppe, took over management of the winery for over 70 years and today, her spirit of determination continues to drive the female led winemaking team.

The winemaking team at SIMI is led by Lisa Evich, who began her career at SIMI, spending 9 years with the winery before leaving to diversify her experience. She returned home to SIMI in 2015 as Winemaker, where she sought to create wines of balance and harmony. The one word that Lisa would use to describe SIMI wines is "timeless". Her deep connection to the legacy left by Isabelle Simi, as well as her development as a winemaker, creates the perfect intersection for crafting premium wines and allows the history and the future of SIMI and Sonoma County to permeate in each bottle.

SIMI produces quality wines sourced from the best of Sonoma County and crafts a range of remarkable offerings. SIMI's Sonoma County-designate wines include Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Sauvignon Blanc and delivers true-to-fruit expressions of Sonoma with every vintage.
