Meet the Team

The heart and soul of the APIARIA team are:

Steven Godfryd – FOUNDER

Steven taught beekeeping in the Peace Corps in Latin America. He cherishes exploring and learning about different places and cultures. He speaks fluent Spanish, plays guitar, enjoys sports, and is an art and wine lover.

Avery Godfryd – FOUNDER

Avery is a world traveler, an artist, and a designer with a keen eye and superb taste. She is a mom and an outdoorswoman as well as an avid gardener. 

Avery was a student of Entomology and Beekeeping, and taught gardening in Latin America.  She is a doula, an artist, and a designer with a keen eye and superb taste. 

Chiaya Rawlins - 

Chiaya spends her free time volunteering for non-profits and charitable organizations.  She is especially passionate about supporting international development and human rights groups. At Apiaria, she does everything from technical production to driving the truck. She is a graceful dancer who especially enjoys African dance.

Our Mission

Our focus has until now always been charity fundraising auctions.  We have curated items for thousands of galas, wine tastings, school fundraisers, crab feeds, golf tournaments, concerts and more.  But now, after many joyous years sourcing locally and globally, Apiaria is born of a passion and the need to bring everything unique to a broader audience.

We aim to create beauty that nurtures the soul. However, our mission stretches way beyond just selling unique products and sending people on vacations. Helping others is the driving force behind our company. While searching for unique, high-quality items, we support charities by participating in their fundraising auctions.
